We are appalled to see the behaviour of some walkers and pet carers putting, animals at risk – that’s how they keep costs down. But what price is the heartbreak of an injured, escaped or stolen pet. We will always put your pet before profit.
Our Pet People Mission
Having retired from founding and running a national charity for 30 years, we looked at what we would do next – we are not the sort to sit around!.
We love pets and we like pet lovers – they are some of the nicest people you can meet! So we have now extended our caring - moving from the care of disabled people to the care of all pets and the support of their owners.
Working as ‘The Pet People’, we understand how much love we have for our pets and the unconditional love they give to us. That is why they are so precious to us and deserve tailored care – the sort of care we would want for our Labrador Jack. But we want to support you too – Pet care isn’t always easy, we understand that people have busy lives and that last-minute issues or even emergencies occur – so we have tailored our services to support you too – through good times and bad.

Confidence - As full members of NARPS – we provide all our clients with comprehensive service contracts and copies of the animal’s individual care plan, so you are confident we are behaving in ways you can trust.
Insurance - We are also covered for liability and other levels in insurance for your pet and your property.
Data - We are registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) so you can be sure we handle your personal data in line with regulations and as per our contract with you.
Professionalism – We are mature, active, experienced professional people, with high levels of honesty and integrity.
Sheila has even been honoured with an OBE by The Queen. We have operated a major multi-million-pound organisation for over 30 years and worked with leading businesses – so we know that professionalism really matters.
We will never reveal information about you, your pets or your home and will always endeavour to use services you wish for your pet – such as your chosen vets and groomers, so you and your pet feel safe and familiar.
Qualified - As a director, Colin is qualified in running a business and in canine and feline First Aid. All of our pet carers also have this qualification. Colin also has a qualification in the safe transportation of animals. If medication needs administering to your pet whilst they are in our care we can take training from your vet or your chosen veterinary nurse to achieve this
